Fits my power application perfectly. The quality of the heatsink is excellent. It needs no surface coating at all. Very competitive pricing as well. From this point I just pick a length and a type and I have what I need. Great company to do business with. I actually talked to a real person that cares about the customer. I am using TO-247 packages with mica insulators with a single 3/4" x 0.125" bar to hold them in place. Three non-theaded holes secures the devices with ease.

Very well made, extruded, product, at a very competitive price. Used for heat disapation on prepackaged LED light packs, on truck trailers. Performed as expected. One low price for multiple length cuts is great. We can not set up and cold-cut for that cost. The thermal adhesive made installation even quicker. We did block sand the back surface of the heat sink for a flatter, more thermal conductive surface. Excellent customer service(thank you Jackie), well packaged, and reasonable shipping costs. Will buy from again.

Nice looking product. So nice I left the top of the heatsink viewable on my aquarium hood MOD. Got a couple of Wows out of that. This is now my goto company.

This stuff worked great for my DIY LED for my aquarium. It was however a huge PITA to drill & tap. In the future I may ask to have it machined, or just use thermal adhesive instead. But that was my own mistake, not on the part of heatsinkusa.com! Great product, will buy again.

because of their willingness to cut to length and good product selection I find myself shopping here first when I need a heatsink for a new project.
