American made, quality
I'm using these for custom made LED lights for my detailing shop. I'm using 75" long sections to carry 10 x 10W led chips on the bottom side and a power supply on the top. Dissipates a lot of heat, of which these chips create plenty. I have no complaints about the quality of the extrusion, fins and surfaces are flawless. Soft aluminum, so it drills and taps very easily. Light in weight but supports the above mentioned hardware easily over the 6'+ span while suspended from chain from ceiling. These 100w setups, with voltage of about 10.6vdc under load, equate to about 75 c temps across the sink after one hour of continuous use, this is equilibrium with temps as they didn't change/increase after about 40 mins. Hope this helps.

Clean cuts with no burrs
I ordered this product for a stepper motor. Even though it wasn't quite big enough to take care of the heating issue I have, it's a great piece of work. The cuts are clean and there are no scratches on any of the surfaces. I would recommend any of these products to anyone. That's why I ordered here when I bought my bigger sinks.

Looks just like what I wanted.
I am in the process of building a led,cob panel. I have not finished to test the heatsinks out yet, However, The product arrived in a timly manner, and look very clean. There are no burs, or sharp edges. There are 2 minor scratches out of 132" of total sinks, but they are on the side, and to small to matter. In general, I am happy with the product, and services provided to me, and will be back in the future.

Temperature rating is exagerated
I made up a 44" 86W LED light system and found my temps to be a bit higher then originally designed. I used a small piece of blue masking tape - the thin blue 3M stuff painters use - to adhere to a couple points along the heatsink being sure to tuck them tightly between the fins to make sure it didn't create a heat pocket. This allowed me to measure the surface temp with the FLIR camera I borrowed from work. Average surface temp came up to 165*F, or ~74*C. In a cool ambient room temp of 65*F or 18.3*C. This gives a delta *C of 55.7*C. Total power into the devices was 86W (measured accurately via current and voltage probes). The power going to heat is 86w * 0.70. The 0.70 is derived as a heating coefficient from the device datasheet and application notes. This brings total power to heat at 60.2w. With 60.2w input and a delta*C of 55.7*C with a length of 44" gives a *C/W/3" rating of 9.08. Significantly higher then the 7.02 noted above. I know the *C/W/3" is listed as approximate, but this is a pretty large difference. I would have bought a larger heatsink had I known the temps would be this high. Besides this, the heatsink was straight, well cut with no sharp edges or burrs. The fins looked nice with no marring or defects. The flat side had some scuffs but this was easily sanded out. The packaging was very thorough and protected the heatsinks well. Bottom line, I would purchase these heatsinks, and others from this site again, with some extra padding in the thermal calculations :)
