5 Low cost, high quality

Incredibly affordable for the base thickness you get. You won't find such a tall or thick heat sink from places like amazon. Cut is high quality, very little bur is left behind.

5 Excellent Quality, Affordable Heatsink
Posted by Jon on 10th Feb 2015
I've struggled for years looking through the big electronics outfitters for heatsinks to fit my parts. I've always had to end up cutting into expensive anodized aluminum heatsinks to get them to properly fit to my parts. This 3.945" heatsink is perfect. It came cut to my length specifications very quickly. The machining is precise and the material is of high quality. (Note, the aluminum is bare stock, non-anodized). These are perfect for rapid prototyping or small quantity runs.

5 A very large fin heatsink.
Posted by Len Flint on 23rd Jan 2015
This large sink was cut very straight, and the bottom surface was quite flat. I only had to do a minimum of fine sanding to get an almost mirror finish. I'm testing a 4" piece with a 45 watt LED COB and in stagnant air it's temp only went up to 55 degrees C, with a small breeze it dropped back down to just above ambient. These tests were in the less than desirable horizontal plane.
