Better than I thought!
Although this is a fairly small sink, a 4" section is capable of dissipating 45 watts with a temp increase of only about 25 degrees C ,in the horizontal plane, in a stagnant air area. With some air movement allowed, the temp rise was only about 15 degrees. This is going to be my "go to" heatsink in the future!
