      Customer service was friendly on the phone. They ship extremely quickly ordered in the am and received the following night on an order. The drawing are accurate enough to recreate the product in 3D cad software to run cnc programs on them for custom products.

      7.984" WIDE EXTRUDED ALUMINUM HEATSINK

      HeatsinksUSA manufactures a wide variety of heatsink profiles not generally available from other sources. Their products are custom extruded for them in the USA and are precision cut to the desired length in house. They have very reasonable pricing and one can order in small quantities. The heatsinks are well packed to prevent damage. Their customer service is spectacular. You will not regret calling them first when your project needs a custom heatsink.

      The flat surface wasn't perfectly flat there is about ¼ inch difference between the sides and the middle section of the heatsink. It didn't bother me since I was fastening a slightly flexible component on the heatsink. Be careful if you are installing a rigid component, this might not fit well...

      The only reason that I gave a 4, instead of 5, was the packaging, which darn near gave me a hernia trying to open it. Great product though!!

      The dimensions were exact and the heatsink was perfect for my purposes. Props to customer service, who contacted me to address an issue with my order and actually saved me a few bucks in the end.
