8.460" Wide Extruded Aluminum Heatsink

I bought this heat sink specifically so I could place a laptop computer on the top of the fins, and allow the laptop's fans to blow hot air from the laptop motherboard onto the fins and out to the heat sink. This helps keep the laptop running cool. I use that laptop very frequently and I want to keep it cooled down. This heat sink was shrink wrapped, and it was very well packed in the shipping box. There was no damage when it arrived. There was a little note saying that the edges of the heat sink are extremely sharp and I appreciate the caution -- that is a good thing to disclose. The note made me slow down and handle the heat sink more carefully. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I believe this heat sink helps a lot to cool down a laptop computer. I am also a repeat customer of this company.

Second time buying a custom length heatsink. The length was exactly as specified and the cuts are super clean. Not much else to say really!

The over-all assembly and cut quality was excellent. It was shipped promptly and was well packed.

Was not sure it could handle the heat but it's performing better than I thought. I added a u channel cover and vented air through it and my temps are super low.

The product arrived to spec, as ordered. However, When I checked out via your website, your shipping estimator declared an arrival date of Saturday 8/22/2015, for +19.00USD surcharge, which I paid. However, I did not receive the item, which I needed for a job I was doing over the weekend, until 8/24/2015. I asked for a refund of shipping charges and one of your associates insisted that I provide proof that your website displayed the promised arrival date as such. I found this request to be ridiculous and an embodiment of extremely poor customer service, considering she knew very good and well that none of the invoices your company sent me had such information displayed and obviously normal customers don't go around taking screen shots of webpages as they navigate. I'm 100% sure of what your website promised, because I specifically chose your company to order from because it had the option of 2 day shipping and I needed the part by the day that your website displayed as the promised delivery date. I ordered other parts from Amazon at the same time, which arrived ON TIME for ZERO additional fee. You'll have a hard time competing in today's marketplace if you keep making empty promises and then putting the burden of remediation on your customer. Product was as expected, in fact, custom cutting was actually closer to tolerance than expected, same day custom service. Customer service assisted in expedited delivery and savings in shipping costs.

Ordered a 3" segment, what I received was within 0.002". Using it to heat sink about 20 W heat coming off of SMT LEDs, and apparently my math was off as it was severe overkill. Sharp edges (but not burred), but for the price an excellent buy.
